ebenefits is one of the most value resources for Veterans. Most Veterans have heard of this resource and are currently enrolled. If you are a current veteran, about to retire, or separate from the military in any way, please take the time to check it out if you haven't already.

Veterans Crisis Line

Are you a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one? You're not alone—the Veterans Crisis Line is here for you. You don't have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to call. Access free, confidential support 24/7, 365 days a year. Connect with a real person qualified to support Veterans. The Veterans Crisis Line serves Veterans, service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and those who support them. Need help now? Dial 988 then Press 1chat live, or text 838255. A caring, qualified responder will listen and help. Your call is free and confidential, and you decide how much information to share. Support doesn't end with your conversation. The Wounded Warrior Project

The wounded warrior project is a great resource for Veterans who suffer from traumatic incidences. You can show your support to the organization by making a charitable donation

American Legion

The American Legion, commonly known as the Legion, is a nonprofit organization of US war veterans headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is made up of state, U.S. territory, and overseas departments, and these are in turn made up of local posts.

If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion. To apply or for more information, please visit their website:

The National Resource Directory

The National Resource Directory is a United States Government inter-agency web portal for Wounded Warriors, Service Members, Veterans, their families and caregivers. It provides information and links to thousand of national, state and local resources.

The NRD is a database of validated resources that supports recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration for service members, veterans, family members, and caregivers. To get more information, please visit their website:

Give An Hour

Giving Help. Giving Hope.

Give an hour is an amazing organization that is dedicated to mental health and helping those who served.  

Give an Hour's mission is to develop national networks of volunteers capable of responding to both acute and chronic conditions that arise within our society. By harnessing the skill and expertise of volunteer professionals, they are able to increase the likelihood that those in need receive the support and care they deserve. The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans

NCHV is the only national organization solely focused on ending veteran homelessness. They work to achieve their mission by promoting collaboration, shaping policy, building service capacity, ensuring accountability, and managing a referral helpline for veterans experiencing and at-risk of homelessness.

AARP

AARP is a great resource for Veterans in that they offer discounts, health information, and job resources for spouses. For more information please visit their website:

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army has been a pillar in  communities for years. Their untiring support to families all over has been amazing. Their efforts are also extremely valuable to the veteran population.

They offer a number of services for veterans such as providing shelters, adult rehabilitation centers, and a community of people ready to assist all veterans returning home!

Bicycle Health

Bicycle Health was Founded by Ankit Gupta!  Bicycle Health is a leading organization that focuses on increased access to high-quality, integrated medical and behavioral healthcare. Bicycle Health offers Behavioral Health, Mental Health, General, and Treatment resources for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Addiction. Caring for over 10,000 patients nationwide, Bicycle Health believes recovery is within reach for everyone!
According to the National Center for PTSD, 20% of veterans with PTSD also have Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and 33% of veterans in treatment for SUD also have PTSD. Bicycle Health has recently published an educational guide on post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction, why they're connected, treatment options, challenges, and more. Vision Care Guide for Veterans

The Veterans Administration (VA) has provided vision care since it was founded, and those services continue to improve. Preventative care and routine care are included. Glasses and contact lenses may or may not be covered depending on whether there is an underlying condition, service-related injury involved, or other factors. The NVISION Care Guide for Veterans is a free resource that highlights VA coverage for vision care, common eye injuries/disorders for veterans, treatment for blind veterans, and more. The Ms. Veteran America competition highlights more than the strength, courage, and sacrifice of our nations military women, but also reminds us that these women are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Wives.

Ms. Veteran America is a movement, encouraging women veterans to uplift each other and find their tribe.

Proceeds from this event provides housing for homeless women Veterans and their children. Women Veterans are currently the fastest growing homeless population in America. Over half of homeless women veterans are single mothers.
