Let's Pick Up Where We Left Off!
We are so sorry for leaving you all hanging like that! Although we continued to fulfill all online orders, we had so many other things going on that we were unable to post new content for you guys to read. So, we had to take a short break, but we are back now!
So, what's been going on comrades? We missed sharing our posts with you all, and now it is time to jump right back into where we left off!
Let's Get Back into the Swing of Things!
In our last post, we discussed discovering the real you and you were assigned 3 tasks:
Task 1: Write down 5 short term goals and 5 long term goals.
Task 2: Write down down where you see yourself in 5-10 years.
Task 3: Identify up to 5 things that would stop you from or interfere with you reaching your goals listed in task 1.
Did you complete these tasks? Ok, what did you come up with? Take some time to analyze your tasks. Are the goals you listed SMART-goals (we'll discuss these)? If you haven't completed these tasks, it's ok. Just try to complete them to see what you can come up with.
SMART Goals
How many times have you heard that your goals should be "SMART" goals? You should ensure that you always set attainable goals.
In our last post, I explained that we would next discuss learning how to outline our goals and how to achieve them as well and our traits and tendencies. Now, let's take a look at this video to get a better understanding of how to set SMART goals (4mins):

What Affects Our Goals...
How we perceive things versus how they actually are, all comes down to our traits and tendencies. Do you tend to think positively or negatively? Do you think it's even possible to reach the goals that you have written down? Sure it is!
See...all of these things are important to understand during the process of self discovery and becoming successful as you navigate through life. You can’t just write down a bunch of goals, knowing you will never do what it takes to achieve them, and expect things to automatically workout for you.
Who we are, where we come from, personal development, and how we think are all the important keys to our individual success. Steve Harvey (yes, we will see a lot of his videos) says "Reset Your Mindset." Take a look at/listen to this video:

Switching Gears A Little...
Take all of this in. Let's not over analyze, but start to think about what you can do to ensure that you reach your goals. Expect that you will push yourself hard enough to reach your goals, and that you will do whatever it takes. Let that be your drive and see how far you'll go. :)
